Terms and Conditions

A 'baker's dozen' benefits of subscribing:

1.       On your behalf, highly skilled staff do the ‘leg-work’ to find the relevant funds that schools or schools in partnership with others are eligible to apply for, saving you time and effort in having to ‘weed out’ irrelevant funds

2.       Because we do weekly updates (Sunday evenings) our database is always changing in the total number of funds we have open and in how those funds are displayed (e.g. ‘2010’, ‘ongoing’, ‘dormant’ – not currently accepting applications but likely to do so in the future).  This makes our website dynamic and clearly defined for subscribers.

3.       Every fund entered on the database is sent to the funder for their verification and amendment (if necessary). Many funds are not directed specifically to schools and so some of the funders have taken the opportunity to provide text tailored to a school audience.

4.       The ‘fields’ of information on each entry were identified from a scoping study with school leaders.

5.       The database includes sources from philanthropy, not-for-profit, business and government (fed/state/local).

6.       We utilise multiple sources (web, media alerts & relationships developed with funders) to identify new funds.

7.       You can choose a variety of pathways to search for a fund: ‘hot funds’ - shows all the funds in the database that will close in the next 60 days; ‘modified funds’ - shows all fund entries that have changed in some way in the last 7 days – e.g. a funder has updated information); ‘Advanced search’ – tailor your search to meet your needs in such areas as location or priority area; ‘Quick search’ – key word fast search.

8.       In addition to our weekly updates, we do a major quarterly review of all fund entries to ensure accuracy and currency (e.g. making sure links to funder websites are functional and any updated information is added).

9.      You can choose to receive a weekly 'my alert' of funds (accepting applications in 2010 or beyond) that have been added to the database in the last 7 days.

10.     Subscribers have access to professional development tools, such as education relevant explanations of philanthropic eligibility requirements and how to write for success.

11.     Subscribers have access to significant discounts to professional learning.

12.     We set ourselves the goal to continue to grow and develop the Tender Bridge to make it the most comprehensive website in Australia of funds that schools or schools in partnership with others can access.

13.     We are committed to being responsive to our subscribers (e.g. responding to enquiries within a stated period of time; follow-up phone calls or emails to subscribers who we notice have not logged on yet to find out if they are experiencing any difficulties; we send our subscribers from every state and territory in Australia a succinct feedback survey at key points during the year)
